ABOUT cecilia

I was born & raised in Memphis, Tennessee, always outside, never in shoes, & went as an artist every
career day since I was four. The open land & wild air of the south, alongside my haven that was art,
were my comforts growing up and have instilled a wild pursuit into who I am today.

In 2017 I earned my BA in Art + Design & have since chased a romantic life in the busy streets of DC,
sandy paths of coastal Georgia, & now happily soak in the easy, open air of Little Rock, Arkansas as a
full-time artist; living my dream alongside my best friend & husband, Brent. 

I’m often in my studio, but when I’m not, I can be found sifting for my next vintage find, loving on my
two french bulldogs Javier & Motley, thumbing through a current read, soaking in healing sun, diving
into the ocean as often as I can, and definitely cooking up a beautiful meal with my 70’s rock filling the air.

AmaviHouse is all about groovy hues, retro moods, & the mellow state of mind. It's my corner to create
what I dream up & then get to share pieces of myself forward with you. Inspiration flows from the 1970’s,
coastal towns, warm color palettes, messy writing, cut flower bouquets, summer dusk, and impressionism.

I specialize in painting custom bouquets, pet portraits, local landmarks,
& regularly release individual series— often florals & landscapes.
